WOMEN’S SUPPORT GROUPS
WOMEN’S SUPPORT GROUPS
The groups provide ongoing sharing and support to one another in a small group setting. There are no required formats for meetings. Some groups have discussion topics of interest, but many focus on the personal, spiritual and life transition issues of their members. All use guidelines regarding confidentiality. Sharing is encouraged but not mandated and members are asked to limit the time they have to speak to give all others who want to a chance to participate. The Circle of Trust Touchstones developed through the Center for Courage and Renewal provide guidelines for groups to help conduct meetings.
