Connections to District and National Unitarian Universalism

Beginning with the 2010-2011 church year, the UUCV Board of Trustees established a leadership development budget line to support participation in PSWD District Assemblies, the PWR Regional Assembly, and annual UUA General Assemblies. This makes participation in district and association activities more available to interested congregants of varied income levels.
The Leadership Development Committee encourages members to attend General Assemblies and District Assemblies for the purpose of expanding knowledge and developing skills they can use as leaders in the congregation.  Depending on available funds, the Leadership Development Committee will contribute from its budget an amount equal to the early registration fee to church members attending GA and/or DA as voting delegates, based on financial need.  Applicants are encouraged to make requests as early as possible before the assembly takes place.
