Jedi Academy! Offers padawans an opportunity to develop practical spiritual skills including skill, sense, courage, insight, and spirit. The focus is mindfulness.
Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy. Jedi use their powers to defend and protect. Jedi respect all life, in any form. Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.
The world of the Jedi has inspired real-life practices of spirituality. The Jedi believe in the “living Force”, a spiritual presence that surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds all the matter in the universe together.
If this program were summed up in one word, it would be “Mindfulness.” The Jedi students learn to pay close attention to their experience of themselves and the world around them. They develop spiritual skills in five training categories: Physical training, Senses, Courage, Insight, and Spirit.
At the end of the year if the pass the five trials, they will be ceremonially knighted as Jedi Knights!
