Description –The Finance Committee (or Finance Ministry) is chartered by the board and serves to review monthly financial information, recommending actions to the board as necessary to operate within the budget, the bylaws and policies. They propose an annual budget each year, subject to board and congregational approval. They monitor investment performance and recommend changes as needed.

Qualifications – Some experience in the area of finance is welcomed, but not required.

Meetings –Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, usually at 7:00 p.m., excluding July when accounting personnel are finalizing the prior year and entering new budget information into the system.
