The Thursday morning book group, which reads non-fiction, continues to be well-attended by a interesting group of readers who enjoy lively discussions. Our members are from the communities of Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo and Ojai. It is an open group.
Please feel free to drop in for a single session (even if you have not read our current book) or come regularly. All are welcome.
We read mostly non-fiction. We are now reading Upheaval by Jared Diamond and recently read The War On Normal People by Andrew Yang and Frederick Douglass, by Blight.
All of these excellent books lead to some good dialogue.
